PDF PrintShop Batch-print PDF files the easy way
PDF PrintShop is meant to make PDF printing easier. It's sort of a "GoPlot" for (batch) printing PDF files on printers that do not directly accept PDF data (some PostScript level 3 printers do; note that GoPlot could be used for printing PDF's on those printers).
What I offer here is a very preliminary version of the program. It uses GhostScript as the engine for many aspects of processing the PDF's (so that must be installed!). A.o. GhostScript helps to...
  • create a thumbnail preview
  • create a larger preview
  • check for color / monochrome
  • count pages
  • find page size(s) and orientation
  • print the PDF (using the mswinpr2 driver!)
If you try it, then keep in mind that it has a very preliminary status, so 1) don't expect it to do everything you would wish, or as you would wish and 2) please give me feedback for improvement (or just tell if it is good enough for you...).

When you start the program for the first time, it will search for GhostScript on the C: disk; this may take some time. If GhostScript is not found, it is either not installed, or it is installed on another disk (partition). In the first case you must obviously install GhostScript and then tell where the GhostScript "\bin" folder (containing the executables) is; in the second case just tell PDF PrintShop where the GhostScript "\bin" folder is (use the "Configure" menu).
